Peloton shared a host of new images of the new Bike+ and lower cost treadmill with us this morning, and we’ve spent the last few hours looking through them.

One of the additions to Peloton’s new Bike+ is a larger screen that will swivel to the other side of the bike. What benefit will this bring for Peloton customers?

While it should come as no surprise to those who are following the rumors, Peloton has announced a new bike (Bike+) and a new lower-cost treadmill.

Peloton includes options to share workouts to Strava and Fitbit after the class is completed. On September 1, it was just a text entry about the class. Now, it includes a screen grab from the actual class.

Following the supply chain can often give a deeper understanding of how companies will perform in upcoming quarters. If the news out of Rexon is any indication, Peloton is going to have a blow-out earnings report this coming week.

GymKit has been around for a couple of years at this point, but we rarely hear anything about it. Occasionally there will be a news story about a hotel chain adding a few thousand compatible treadmills, but that’s about it.

A new report from Bloomberg today offers additional details on Peloton’s upcoming hardware plans. According to the report, the company could announce its cheaper treadmill and higher-end bike as soon as next week. The existing Peloton bike could get a price drop in conjunction with these announcements.

Today looks to be the day of Peloton leaks, as a few hours after details of the upcoming bike were released, another Peloton leak followed.

Peloton has been rumored to be releasing a new bike sometime in 2020, and The ClipOut has heard some new details about what might be coming.

2020 might be known for a lot of negative things, but one of the positives will be the rise of connected fitness. We all know about Peloton’s growth, but Peloton isn’t the only company producing exciting new products. Today, JAXJOX has unveiled its new InteractiveStudio along with multiple new fitness products that can be purchased as a kit or separately.

If you were planning to join one of Peloton’s live classes this morning, you’ll be sad to find out that Peloton has canceled live classes through 11:00 AM EST this morning.

The Peloton digital app has become a popular workout partner for those without a Peloton bike or treadmill as gyms have stayed close for the past few months. But the Android app has frustrated many users with its lack of functionality compared to the iPhone and iPad apps.

Since I am somewhat new to Peloton, learning about the backstories of the instructors is always fun. Even though they are virtually coaching me, I still “feel” like I get to know them.

2020 has been a great gear for Peloton, and their leadership isn’t resting on its laurels. Today, Peloton announced it has hired a new global marketing chief.

NBCUniversal participated in Peloton’s Series E and Series F fundraising rounds in 2017 and 2018, and it ended up with a double-digit ownership stake in the company prior to Peloton’s IPO. NBCUniversal recently sold its entire stake in Peloton for an $86 million profit.

After a few months of using my Peloton bike, I now have a bird’s-eye view of some aspects of the platform and where improvements could be made. The main aspect of the platform I see issues with is the Peloton leaderboard and how it calculates total output.
