First images of Peloton’s lower-cost treadmill leak

Today looks to be the day of Peloton leaks, as a few hours after details of the upcoming bike were released, another Peloton leak followed.

PeloBuddy has leaked an image of the upcoming “cheaper” Peloton treadmill.

It’s rumored that the new treadmill would be the “better” in Peloton’s better/best product strategy, so that means the larger model would remain for sale. The new treadmill would have a 23.8 inch instead of the current 32-inch touchscreen. It is also rumored to have GymKit support for easy pairing to Apple Watch as is the new Peloton bike. There are other rumored hardware changes related to how the belt would function as well.

Since the current treadmill costs $4,000, it’s rumored to be in the $2,000 – $2,500 range. Peloton will announce its quarterly earnings on September 10, so it’s possible an announcement could be coming very soon.
