CenturyLink outage forces Peloton to cancel live classes

If you were planning to join one of Peloton’s live classes this morning, you’ll be sad to find out that Peloton has canceled live classes through 11:00 AM EST this morning.

The cancellation isn’t due to a Peloton technical problem, but rather an issue with CenturyLink. CenturyLink purchased Level 3 in 2017, and it provides core IP, voice, video, and content delivery for many internet carriers in North America, Latin America, Europe, and parts of Asia. If you aren’t familiar with them, they are the internet provider for many internet providers.

Multiple services across the world are experiencing issues including Hulu, Playstation Network, etc. We covered it in more detail over on 9to5Mac
