Peloton for Apple TV was released back in June, and it’s generally been well received. It’s a fairly basic implementation, but it works well for working out with Peloton off of the Bike or Tread. Since I have the original Bike, I use it for my strength and stretching workouts since I can’t rotate my screen. One of the glaring features that it was missing was multi-user login for Apple TV.

FitGrid, a new service, brings live workouts to your home and allows you to discover nearby studios. FitGrid’s platform includes virtual and in-person fitness classes from brands such as F45 Training and The Dailey Method as well as from independent studios. As part of the launch, FitGrid has partnered with Athleta to power free virtual classes for the ​Athleta NYC Empower Tour​.

Tonal raises $110 million from athletes like Stephen Curry and Serena Williams

Tonal is becoming a popular choice for connected strength workouts, and some even consider it a ‘sibling’ to Peloton as it offers a similar experience (live classes, workout programs, etc.) while just focusing on strength training. Today, Tonal has announced they have raised $110 million from a group of investors that includes NBA star Stephen Curry, tennis legend Serena Williams, and former NFL player Tony Gonzalez.
