Peloton releases new ‘Train Smart’ collection for strength training

Post the release of Bike+, Peloton is clearly making a move into strength training. John Foley has said multiple times that Peloton “must win strength.” As part of this strategy, Peloton has just released a new ‘Train Smart’ strength training collection.

As first spotted by PeloBuddy, Peloton’s new collection is a set of ten-minute workouts aimed at getting the most effective strength training workout. Inside the collection are classes from Robin Arzon, Rebecca Kennedy, Adrian Williams, Andy Speer, Olivia Amato, Jess Sims, and Selena Samuela.

Peloton’s use of the “collections” functionality is going to be interesting to watch going forward. As they move into boot camps and other strength type classes, being able to combine existing classes together in new and interesting ways is a great way to repurpose existing classes into something new.

The existing collection contains a wide variety of strength workouts that includes arms, legs, glutes, core, and full-body strength.

The new collection is available to watch on Peloton Digital and the Peloton devices.
