Here at Connect the Watts we love scoping out home gyms online and seeing the interesting touches, designs, and equipment that people choose to incorporate into their at-home gyms. Today’s home gym setup features a lot of space that is heavy on neutral colors, light on the equipment, and has both low light and natural light. Head below to learn more.
Let’s take a look at this at-home gym setup designed by Diachok Architects:
Favorite features
I can’t imagine anyone looking at this space and not appreciating how gorgeous it is with the touches of low light and the various pieces of exercise equipment that match each other. What I love most about this at-home gym, though, are the full-length mirrors opposite the dumbbell rack, which allow you to keep an eye on your form without risking an injury.
The natural light coming in through the tasteful windows adds a sense of calm to this space, and I really like how the arches on the mirrors match the arch on the window.
As far as the equipment, I’m loving the cardio options with the sleek treadmill and the air bike both facing the window. Also included are a medicine ball, a stability ball, what looks to be a bosu ball, various weights, a yoga mat, and a bench – in other words, there’s nothing you can’t accomplish in this home gym, except maybe taking some laps in a pool.
Suggestions for improvement
As I have said in every other home gym review thus far, I would always remove a television and replace it with a white (or black) board of some sort where the user can record their exercise stats. In this case, however, I think that removing the television takes away from the overall aesthetic of this at-home gym. I might add a plant or two to the space, but aside from that? This is a 10/10.

Connect the Watts’ Take
I love this at-home gym setup, and you can own all of the equipment provided for less than $2,000. The natural light combined with the spotlight/lowlight options keep this spacious room moody, yet organic. What do you think? Which would you add, eliminate, or replace?
