Peloton’s partnership with Sport Tiedje, a home fitness and exercise equipment retailer based in the UK, is expanding. Keep reading below the fold to learn more.
Sport-Tiedje operates underneath the umbrella of Powerhouse Fitness in the UK, and each of the nine Powerhouse Fitness locations will now carry Peloton devices, in addition to selling Peloton products within its online store; there is a dedicated Peloton page on Powerhouse Fitness’s website.
On the site, consumers have the option to buy the Peloton Bike, Peloton Bike+, Peloton Tread, mats, and shoes. In celebration of the Peloton and Powerhouse Fitness partnership, there was a promotion called “Peloton Spring Deals” available that offered up to £250 (about $280 USD) off of specific purchases in addition to a complimentary gift valued at £250.
In September 2023, Peloton announced its partnership with Sport-Tiedje, with Germany and Austria being the first two countries to launch the collaboration. As a result, the Bike, the Bike+, and the Tread were sent to 35 Sport-Tiedje locations in Germany.
In Austria, it was the first time Pelton had expanded into a country in two years when they launched on October 17, 2023. It was the first time that Peloton launched in a new country without its own retail stores and without giving consumers the ability to purchase Peloton hardware and accessories directly from Peloton, but rather from a third-party partner (via Pelo Buddy).
