Today, March 11, New York Knick’s Josh Hart will join Alex Tousiant for a live class at Peloton Studios New York later this evening at 7:00 p.m. EST. The class and the Peloton x NBA ambassadors come from the growing and evolving partnership between the NBA/WNBA and Peloton. Keep reading below for more details.
A budding relationship
In October 2023, Peloton and the National Basketball Association (NBA) and Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) announced a partnership – a first-of-its-kind collaboration.
Following the announcement, NBA League Pass became available on Peloton devices via Peloton Entertainment with a subscription to access the content. Additionally, Peloton sent some of its instructors to the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, where Peloton set up a HIIT and hoop station for people to test out Peloton hardware while shooting baskets in between exercises.
Now, Peloton has announced four Peloton x NBA Ambassadors, including the New York Knicks’ shooting guard, Josh Hart. Additional Peloton x NBA Ambassadors include Brooklyn Nets’ forward Mikal Bridges, Charlotte Hornets’ shooting guard Seth Curry, and Minnesota TImberwolves’ center Karl-Anthony Towns. Peloton made the announcement on Instagram:
The ride with Josh Hart is called “NBA 3rd Quarter Ride with Josh Hart.” It’s a 20-minute ride and Peloton members can opt-in via the forthcoming schedule; the class was also added to the PSNY booking website because it will also be open to in-person Peloton members.
