‘Peloton Originals’ debuts on Peloton Entertainment

Peloton last week launched the newest update to Peloton Entertainment, “Peloton Originals.” Within Peloton Originals, members will be able to access classes and documentaries. Head below for more details.

When members open “Peloton Originals” within Peloton Entertainment, they’ll have access to content, classes, and documentaries created, produced, and filmed by Peloton’s own content team, according to Pelo Buddy.

The Peloton Original classes are videos that have already aired on other platforms – like Peloton’s YouTube channel – and through Peloton Homecoming features. As of right now, there are only six different classes available on Peloton Originals which cover three series.

There is a featured video in Peloton Originals with “Badwater 135,” which is Susie Chan’s 30-minute class that highlights her Badwater 135 Ultra marathon.

Members will also find four different videos called “The Roadmap – Becs’ Journey,” which highlight Ben Gentry’s Olympic Marathon time trials. Initially these videos were created in 2021, but now they can be found within Peloton’s own platform. Lastly, there’s a video on Peloton Originals called “Together: Ally Love & Usher,” which also premiered in 2021 – here, members will be able to watch Ally Love and Usher have an 8-minute conversation.

Whether you have a Peloton Bike, Bike +, Peloton Tread, Tread+, or the Peloton Row, you’ll have access to Peloton Originals within Peloton Entertainment, and the content is not hardware-specific. For example, if you own a Peloton Row, you’ll still be able to watch Susie Chan’s Badwater 134 Ultra marathon video which doesn’t have to do with rowing.

Connect the Watts’ Take

This is a nice addition for Peloton, especially given that Peloton Entertainment was just launched globally in November 2023. Since Peloton Entertainment has gone live, there has been a partnership with NBA League Pass available for All-Access Members as well as a partnership with YouTube TV. Bringing its own content into Peloton Originals only makes sense.
