Peloton’s new video game mode, called ‘LaneBreak’, is now live on both the Peloton Bike and Bike+. The two-month-long beta ended last week, and now the new mode is available for all Peloton bike owners after installing the latest update.
LaneBreak is Peloton’s newest alternative to their mostly studio-class-based workout format. In this video game mode, you will be tasked with setting the highest score possible by completing challenges through various soundtracks.
While LaneBreak looks great at first glance, the question we hope to discover from testing is if it is good enough to keep members coming back to it over and over again. If it does, it could potentially be a big win for Peloton to keep members engaged and provide an additional incentive for digital members to buy a Peloton Bike and full membership.
