New job listing confirms Peloton rower is coming

The upcoming Peloton rower has been rumored for years, but Peloton’s latest job listing is the first to actually confirm it. The job post is for a “Senior Product Safety Engineer” and mentions they will be working on the Peloton rower, as well as other connected fitness devices.

Peloton CEO John Foley said earlier this year that an upcoming rower was a good guess, but this job listing from Peloton is the first to mention the rower directly. The job listing has since been removed by Peloton, but here is an excerpt of the post:

The opportunity around Peloton Connected Devices is significant and growing – there are already more connected things than people in the world. These devices, ranging from tiny sensor based devices to powerful devices such as Bikes, Treadmills, Rowers and future large scale products that will/have a profound impact on our daily lives.

The job listing’s mention of tiny sensor-based products is likely referring to the Peloton Focus (previous code-named Tiger) and Peloton Platform that information was leaked by Pelobuddy earlier this month.
