Peloton survey focuses on two new potential strength products

Pelobuddy recently reported on an anonymous tip that Peloton is conducting a survey around the pricing of two new potential strength products. One product is called the “Peloton Focus,” which is described as innovative camera technology that transforms your TV in a home gym (likely previously coded as “The Tiger”). The other product is called the “Peloton Platform,” which is described as a weight bench for an efficient full-body workout.

The Peloton Focus would likely work with Strength, Yoga, Cardio, and possibly other class types to count reps and/or provide real-time feedback on your form. Peloton could be using the tech for this device from their recent acquisition of Otari, which developed an interactive yoga mat using AI and computer-vision technology.

The price suggested in the survey is $599 USD, and it’s unclear whether this price would include just the Peloton Focus or if additional weights and/or bands would be included.

The Peloton Platform looks like a combination of a weight bench as well as a platform that features cable weights and a variety of accessories. The price suggested in the survey for the Peloton Platform is $3,000, which would include at-home delivery and assembly.

If these reported pricing surveys are real, it could mean that these two devices (as well as the new Peloton Heart Rate Band) could be releasing later this year.
