For riders who prefer live classes and plan to order a Peloton Bike+, they might be disappointed to learn that the new Auto-Follow resistance feature is only available in on-demand workouts.
I personally prefer to take live classes whenever possible. Similar to how you cannot like a song from a workout playlist with a live ride, the auto-follow resistance will also only be available 24 hours after a ride has been completed.
Please note: This feature is only available on on-demand classes. Please allow 24 hours for auto-follow to populate after a live class.
Since I own the current bike, I was personally on the fence about upgrading to Bike+ (although I’d buy it if I was buying my first bike today), and learning this information confirmed that I am going to hold off on upgrading with this generation. The room I work out in already has a TV with an Apple TV, so that is the method I will do for my strength workouts.
