Our three favorite home gyms from this week: Verdant, simple, elegant

We have rounded up our three favorite home gym setups from this week: One that is set against a wooded yard, another that impresses in its simplicity, and a third that is elegant and luxurious. Each home gym has something different to offer, and undoubtedly, each setup would easily provide someone with an effective full-body workout. Head below to learn more.

First up is this at-home gym with its serene setting, courtesy of Dillard Jones Builders:

What I love about this setup is that it has everything you need: exercise equipment for cardio, a weight bench for strength training, and a view that would be easy to get lost in while exercising – not to mention, the ability to fully open the windows, adding fresh air what can often be a stagnant (and smelly!) space.

Cost breakdown

  • Life Fitness Club Series Treadmill – $2,890
  • Keiser M3 Indoor Cycle – $2,360
  • CAP Barbell Weights & Weight Rack – $250
  • FLYBIRD Weight Bench – $150
  • Trideer Stability Ball – $40

Total cost: $5,960

Next up is this at-home gym setup adorned with almost exclusively BLKBOX Fitness equipment:

What drew my attention to this particular home gym setup is the simplicity of it. It’s like you know if you walked in there, you’d immediately get some good work done. I appreciate the no-frills approach to the space, and there is some serious essential equipment here to help achieve personal records.

Cost breakdown

  • Concept 2 Rower –$1,369
  • BLKBOX 3-Tier Dumbbell Rack – $1,025
  • BLKBOX Wall Mounted Rig – $337
  • BLKBOX Wooden Plyo Jump Box – $145
  • BLKBOX Loadable Dumbell – $58
  • BLKBOX Exercise Mat – $43
  • BLKBOX Power Bands – $22

Total cost: $3,000

Last but not least, we have this absolutely gorgeous home gym from Iron House Design:

Who wouldn’t want to workout in this space? The neutral color palette! The calm! The view! I love a punching bag (even though I’ve never tried one myself), and I love that every piece of equipment matches the other pieces. It feels expensive. I don’t know about the dumbbells being presented horizontally versus having them set up on a rack, but other than that, I have zero notes on this stunning home gym.

Cost breakdown

  • PENT Weighted Gym Balls – $5,790
  • PENT Dumbbells with Horizontal Rack – $4,720
  • PENT Leather Punching Bag – $1,660
  • PENT Basic Gym Weight Bench – $1,500
  • PENT Premium Leather Fitness Ball – $760

Total cost: $14,430
