Buy a Peloton Guide in April? You are eligible to receive $150 in free accessories

Peloton is offering $150 of free accessories in their Guide bundle for Mother’s Day. For those who already bought the Peloton Guide, you are still eligible to get in on the deal. Read below to learn how to get the deal.

Released last month, the stand-alone Peloton Guide was $295. The Peloton Mother’s Day promotion is including a workout mat and heart rate band at no additional cost (savings of $150). The Mother’s Day promotion runs through May 8.

Those who purchased their Peloton Guide outside of the Mother’s Day promotion are encouraged to contact Peloton Support and request to be price matched to get the workout mat and heart rate band at no cost.

These requests are being fielded in two ways. Some customers are being told they will be sent the additional accessories at no cost, with no additional work on the customers end. Other customers are being told to take advantage of the 30 day free home trial – this requires the customer to order a new Guide under the Mother’s Day promotion and return the previously purchased unit.

I went through the process and was helped by a customer support person who instructed me to go the return route.

This could put some customers in a bit of a time crunch; the Guide launched on April 5, so the 30 day free home trial could expire for some as early as May 5. The price match request can be initiated by calling or chatting Peloton Support, or visiting a local showroom.

Peloton typically does offer price adjustments on purchases made within the 30 days prior to significant price changes or promotions. This Guide price adjustment is a little outside of what we expect from them, as it is involving free accessories, and not just the price of the unit.

If you are a Peloton Guide user and purchased it outside of the Mother’s Day bundle, make sure you contact support ASAP. The promotion ends May 8, and if told to exercise the 30 day free home trial, you may need to secure the return even sooner than the 8th.
