2021 holiday gift guide: home exercise bikes (Peloton, NordicTrack, and more)

The holiday season is almost here along with some of the best deals for connected fitness exercise bikes. With the possibility of supply issues and longer shipping times, companies like NordicTrack are starting their Black Friday Deals already so you can get the perfect fitness gift delivered in time. Here is are 2021 gift guide for home exercise bikes!

Best deal of the year

The NordicTrack S22i Studio Cycle is one of the most popular and highly rated bikes available. This discount is the largest the S22i has ever seen and is our pick for best deal of the year. Check out our review of the NordicTrack S22i here.

Best new bike

MYX II Bike: $1,149 + Free Shipping (normally $1,399 + $200 shipping)
Black Friday Sale 11/15-11/28

The MYX II Bike is one of my favorite new bikes of the year and is the first to offer two different membership options with BODi and OpenFit. You can check out our full review of the MYX II Bike here.

Best bike under $500

Renpho AI Smart Bike: $399.99 (normally $599)

The Renpho AI Smart Bike provides a lot of value for the low price, with automatic adjusting resistance, and customized Power Zone training. Its big limitation is that it doesn’t work well with riding “out of the saddle,” but otherwise is a solid bike. We’ve seen the bike drop as low as $399 recently and we expect the price has a good chance of dropping again close to Black Friday. You can check out our review of the Renpho Bike here.

Best bike under $1,000

Echelon GT+: $899.99 (Normally $1,299)

The Echelon GT+ is a bike that I am currently testing for a review, and so far I am very impressed. It has a great-looking design. It rides extremely well with very smooth magnetic resistance. And so far it’s my favorite bike that doesn’t come with a screen. It’s a perfect bike if you want to save a little money by using your own tablet or smartphone. Check back in the future to see my full review.

Best overall value

ProForm Studio Bike Pro: $1,403
(Includes three-year iFIT family membership for free)

The ProForm Studio Bike Pro may not seem like it earns the best overall value title at first glance. But since you don’t have to pay for the iFIT membership for three years, its overall cost is significantly lower than every comparable bike available. Here’s a screen shot of all NordicTrack and ProForm bike prices over a three-year period to show you just how much value is here.

Best premium bike

Peloton Bike+: $2,145 (normally $2,495)

The Peloton Bike+ is still hands down the king of bikes. Compared to all others, the Peloton Bike+ is smoother, easier to adjust, has the best screen, speakers, and additional features like the rotating screen and auto adjust. Maybe most importantly, the screen is more advanced and future-proof than the aging regular Peloton Bike. Check out our comparison of the Peloton Bike+ to the NordicTrack S22i here.
