Peloton officially launches in Australia this week with the Peloton Bike and Bike+ release on July 14. To celebrate their entry into the land Down Under, Peloton announced two Australian premiere rides in partnership with Spotify.
The two Australian Premiere rides will include:
- Spotify Hot Hits Australia Ride with Sam Yo – July 13 at 5:00 p.m. ET (30 min)
- Spotify Monster Dance Hits Ride with Cody Rigsby – July 13 at 7:30 p.m. ET (20 min)
Right now, many in Australia are under strict lockdown measures as the country struggles to deal with an outbreak of COVID-19 cases. With just 8% of their population fully vaccinated, the new and more contagious Delta variant could keep Australians at home for while longer.
While unfortunate for Australians, Peloton’s arrival will likely be welcome. With more Australians looking for ways to work out at home, the demand for Peloton bikes will likely be higher than previously expected.
