Chicago Marriott includes an in-room Peloton Bike to keep you on the leaderboard when traveling

If you’ve spent the last year earning badges, climbing the leaderboard, and extending your streaks, you might be worried about losing momentum as traveling starts back up for vacations, conferences, etc. One Chicago Marriott has you covered, though. They boast an in-room Peloton Bike.

In their King Peloton Workout Guest Room, this Marriott includes a Peloton Bike, weights, and yoga blocks so you can keep your streak going while traveling. Many hotels have started including Peloton Bikes in their fitness center, but this is the first one we’ve seen with a private Bike in the comfort of your own room.

Part of Peloton’s benefit is getting to work out at home, but a major part of it is building up a long history of workouts to analyze stats, collect badges, and monitor your fitness trends. By including a Peloton Bike in the room, hotels can set themselves apart from the competition by letting fitness-focused travelers work out on their schedule in the privacy of their own room.

I know that an in-room Peloton Bike would certainly cause me to choose one hotel over the other –particularly on a multi-night stay. I tend to have more time to work out when traveling because I do not have any family responsibilities, so it’s a great time to get in a few extra classes.
