Kemtai: A new web-based fitness app and ‘Tempo’ competitor

There’s a new online fitness app jumping into the highly competitive connected fitness space: Kemtai. Kemtai promises to transform your laptop or desktop into an advanced, motion-tracking digital personal trainer, complete with real-time personalized feedback and guidance.

 According to Kemtai:

Kemtai leverages proprietary AI and advanced computer vision technology to analyze human motion and provide real-time training feedback—including form correction and rep counting—to create more effective workouts.

Tempo, one of the larger competitors in this space, also offers motion tracking guided workouts but requires a sizable $2,495 + $39 per month investment to get started. Kemtai, on the other hand, is free to start, only costs $19/month after a trial period, and doesn’t require any additional accessories or home fitness equipment. So, it definitely looks to be an attractive program and solution for those who want to try out motion-guided workouts at a fraction of the cost.

The Kemtai fitness app captures and tracks 44 different data points on the human body to help monitor your form. It then uses that data to give real-time training feedback and guidance, as well as provide users with quantitative benchmarks from one workout to the next.

Currently, Kemtai offers daily studio classes, an AI-based custom workout builder, and access to a growing library of on-demand workouts.

It certainly looks interesting, and I will be jumping into Kemtai classes soon to work on a review.
