To honor March as Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, Peloton has announced themed classes and social impact partnerships.
In a recent blog post on Peloton’s website, the home fitness company announced its plans to celebrate the powerful female Peloton members worldwide.
For the entire month of March, Peloton will feature live and on-demand classes themed for Women’s History Month. The blog post says:
Ride, run, flow and so much more to the music of powerhouse women artists across genres and decades. Feel the electricity created when women move together — and get ready to share that energy with others.
To begin, Peloton’s Twitter announced an Artist Series with Grammy nominee, Megan Thee Stallion. This collaboration offers more evidence that Peloton is becoming the antidote to Spotify music.
In addition to themed classes, Peloton plans to support women of fitness socially as well. The company recently announced a donation of $100,000 to 261 Fearless. 261 Fearless is a global nonprofit organization that uses running to empower and unite women through its education programs, women-only running clubs, and social events.
Peloton’s donation will fund the 261 Education Program for 30 new women. Those chosen will all be leaders and coaches of the nonprofit’s women’s running groups.
With these activities and social campaigns planned for March, Peloton looks to continue its goal of building a tight-knit community of diverse members.
