Peloton cancels live classes for Christmas and New Year’s

As expected, Peloton will not have live classes around Christmas and New Year’s Eve/Day this holiday season.

Peloton shared on their Corporate Facebook page that live classes will be canceled on December 24th and December 25th. They will also be canceled on December 31st and January 1st, 2021.

Peloton, this holiday season we will be taking a little break to spend time with our families and to recharge. There will be no live classes December 24-27 and December 31-January 1, but don’t worry we will have some very special on-demand drops and lots of encores for you to choose from during that time. In the meantime, continue to meet us on the leaderboard for our holiday-themed classes, and stay tuned for more to come!

Peloton’s service will obviously continue with thousands of on-demand workouts remaining available. Peloton has said they will have some special on-demand workouts available as well, as you can see below.

Looking out after Christmas, Peloton doesn’t have any live classes scheduled for the 26th or 27th, but it’s likely they will be added in the coming days. The first set of live classes don’t appear until 12/28 with a 45 minute HIIT & Hill Ride from Ben Alldis continuing with a full day’s schedule after that.

I will personally a bit shocked Peloton doesn’t have classes on the 26th as that will be the first non-holiday for a lot of new Peloton subscribers, so getting them started with a live class will be the best way to experience Peloton.
