Peloton Digital is Peloton’s app-only subscription service which gives access to Peloton’s library of content for use without Peloton’s bike or treadmill. Options for accessing it include a Peloton TV app, a Peloton Apple TV app, and Peloton apps for smartphones.
One of the struggles of not having an integrated system of equipment for a workout is getting all of the gear connected. Sometimes, the apps don’t even support all of the features of the Peloton UI. One example here is that the Apple TV app is missing the collections view for catching up on Pelothon 2020.
Another recent example was that the Fire TV app didn’t support Bluetooth. An eagle-eyed Peloton fan on Reddit noticed that was recently fixed, though. Peloton’s Fire TV seemingly now supports Bluetooth. There’s currently nowhere in the UI to connect a Bluetooth device to the app, so it’s not clear if Peloton will enable it later. Bluetooth will allow connections of a heart rate monitor to the Peloton digital app.
