Peloton has announced its summer 2020 Pelothon event taking place from July 13th through August 9th.
Pelothon 2020 is six teams across a four week event with the goal of raising money for a different charity every single week.
To join, you have to pick your team by adding the hashtag to your Peloton profile. I joined the #BREAKTHROUGHCREW myself, but they all look like they’d a lot of fun.
When I initially looked at the schedule for the workouts, I thought it wouldn’t work with on demand, but that isn’t the case.
The workout times listed are each team’s suggested time slot to come together and light up the Leaderboard! You can count yourself in to those classes on the Encore schedule. For the best experience, follow your instructors on social media and add only one team Tag to your profile.
After you join a team, you can earn badges for completing your weekly goals while tracking progress for your entire team. While you technically can join multiple teams, if you do so, Peloton will assign you to one randomly for scorekeeping.
Throughout the month, Peloton will be donating money to organizations who are helping fight hunger during COVID-19.
