One of the biggest challenges when buying a treadmill is figuring out how to fit it into your living space. That’s where companies like WalkingPad and the X25 Foldable Treadmill come in handy. Designed with small spaces in mind, this treadmill offers a double-fold design that allows it to be easily stored. While it may look like it is only designed for walking, it can reach speeds up to 10 MPH and the running performance is surprisingly solid.

WalkingPro Foldable X25 Treadmill: Design
One of the standout features of the WalkingPad Foldable X25 Treadmill is its space-saving design, which I found to be incredibly practical. The double-fold mechanism allows the treadmill to collapse into a compact form, making it easy to store under a bed or in a closet. This design is perfect for anyone who doesn’t have the space to dedicate for a full sized treadmill.
In terms of construction, the WalkingPad X25 feels solid and durable. The aluminum frame provides a sturdy base, and even though it’s light, it can still support up to 300 lbs. While the running belt doesn’t have a ton in the way of suspension, I found it to still be plenty comfortable to run on.
The OLED display also looks great. It displays all the key workout stats like speed, distance, and calories burned in a clean and easy-to-read format. The interface is intuitive and making adjustments to speed is quick and easy.
Another convenient feature of the WalkingPad X25 is the included phone and tablet holder, which easily attaches and detaches from the treadmill. This is a nice addition for those who like to watch videos, or follow along to workout programs like Peloton while working out.
However, its more compact size come with a few drawbacks. One of which is that it lacks any incline capability. The other limitation here is the smaller running surface which is 47″ long and 17″ wide. While I didn’t find the size restrictive, taller users (I imagine above 6’2″)might feel a bit cramped, especially at higher speeds. It’s something to consider if you’re planning on doing intense runs, as you might need to be more conscious of your foot placement.
WalkingPro Foldable X25 Treadmill: Performance
In terms of performance, the WalkingPad X25 delivers solid functionality with speeds that range from 1 to 10 MPH. This speed capability makes it versatile enough for both walking and running workouts.
The top speed of 10 MPH should be sufficient for most users, whether for doing steady-state runs or casual walking. However, it’s worth mentioning that the treadmill doesn’t change speeds very quickly. So if you’re planning on doing short, intense interval workouts that require rapid speed shifts, this might be a slight drawback. For more gradual pace adjustments, though, it works just fine.
Another optional feature here is an integration with the KS Fit app, which allows you to sync your data and monitor your progress over time. The app also allows you to create custom workouts, so you can set up a session and not have to think about time or adjustments as you run.
There are also several built-in safety mechanisms. The WalkingPad X25 requires a safety key to function, which ensures that it won’t start accidentally. Additionally, the treadmill will shutdown automatically if you step off for more than a minute.
WalkingPro Foldable X25 Treadmill: Final thoughts
The WalkingPad X25 Foldable Treadmill is an excellent choice for anyone looking to maximize their fitness routine without sacrificing space. Its double-fold design, transport wheels, and sleek OLED display make it both practical and visually appealing for home use.
The treadmill’s performance holds up well with speeds up to 10 MPH, app integration for tracking, and essential safety features like the safety key and automatic pause. While the lack of incline and smaller running surface may be a drawback for some, its small footprint is more than worth the tradeoff for those with limited room. If space-saving is a priority and you don’t need all the bells and whistles of a full-sized treadmill, the WalkingPad X25 is definitely worth considering.
