Vitruvian Trainer+ expands ‘Echo’ Mode access to all members

This week, the Vitruvian Trainer+, a smart strength platform capable of loading weights up to 440 lbs, is expanding access for its Echo Mode to all members. Still in beta, the Echo Mode enables near-instantaneous weight adjustments for each rep relative to your effort.

In order to gain access to the Echo Mode Beta, you will need to make sure your firmware is updated to at least version 3.1.8 or higher. There is a Trainer Tab on the Vitruvian App where you can check your firmware status and update if needed.

Once updated, you can access Echo Mode through the Just Lift feature found under the Workout Tab. Here, you can select Echo Mode and also adjust the eccentric loading between 100-130%.

We’ve been testing out Echo Mode on the Vitruvian Trainer+ over the past several weeks, and so far it has been very impressive. Given how quickly and smoothly this new mode is able to adjust the weight, it feels like a new standard in digital loading that we have yet to see from competitors like Tonal or Speediance.

You can catch a video detailing our impressions on the new mode here:
