2022 Mother’s Day fitness and health gift guide

It’s time again to think about how to spoil the mothers in our lives. Whether she likes to workout or just relax, this Mother’s Day guide is full of fitness and health gifts she’ll actually use.

Rest and Relaxation

RENPHO Smart Eye Massager $50.48 (normally $79.99)

Connected fitness has taken home fitness to another level, but with it comes even more time spent looking at screens. RENPHO offers an eye massager that brings you heat, massage, and music, to give you eye strain relief. It’s rechargeable, compact, Bluetooth capable, and size adjustable. This product is peak passive recovery.

Hypervolt Go 2 massage gun – $199

Hyperice’s Hypervolt massage gun changed the game for recovery. It’s up to the user to work the gun on themselves, or find someone generous enough to donate their time. The weight and size of the Hypervolt had been a roadblock for my wife. Her saving grace has been found with the Hypervolt Go 2. It’s smaller, lighter, quieter, and every bit powerful enough.

The Splash Zone

Connected fitness equipment isn’t really in a price point where each household member can have their own machines. And as much as I know my wife has love for me, I’m equally certain she does not love getting on a bike or tread immediately after my sweat-soaked sessions.

Driptowel – $59 (two-pack)

The towels are high quality, but what gets these on the list are the rubber clips and the retractable reel. The Driptowel system works great on pretty much all equipment, as the retractable reel allows the towel to reach you from a range of distance.

Drip Wipes – $10

It’s easy to talk yourself out of a workout when you look at it as too much of a time commitment that includes a shower. Drip Wipes help to refresh you enough to move onto the rest of your to-do list until there’s time for a shower.

Nutrition

Prestige Labs Intra – $67 (normally $87)

Intended as a drink for during workouts, Intra is also popular as an anytime drink. With diets that include periods of fasting, and higher intensity workouts that can leave people unable to stomach whole food, Intra is an amino drink that helps replenish what you need.

Prestige Labs Protein Blend – $49 (normally $107)

Delicious protein powder can stave off sweet cravings in a big way. Prestige Labs Protein Blend flavors taste great and the powder mixes well. There’s no shortage of fun protein powder recipes online, maybe get her a tub and try one as a Mother’s Day treat.

Cycling style and comfort

BALEAF Women’s Cycling Bib – $38.99

There is no cycling ride too long for my wife. Early on, she realized she needed to invest in some padded briefs or shorts. The best she found, and at a good price to boot, are these padded cycling bibs. The bib style keeps her comfortable for even her 90 minute rides!

Nike SuperRep Cycle shoes – $78.97 (normally $120)

These cycle shoes have the most flexible upper you’ll find. Nike acknowledges there’s a market for indoor-only cycling shoes, so they went ahead and made something extremely comfortable, that wouldn’t necessarily stand up against the elements. Plus, they have some great colors and patterns.

Big ticket gifts

NordicTrack S27i Studio Bike in alpine white – $2,499

Our home is overflowing, quite literally, with exercise equipment. My wife was very patient with the growing stock in the beginning, but she eventually got to the point where she wanted her house back. There are a few pieces of equipment she specifically asks to be in the house, amongst the furniture, and this bike is one of them. Classic style wrapped handlebars and a seat in vegan brown leather, paired with a soft white frame, this bike is gorgeous.

Echelon GT+ Connect Bike

Echelon is one of the only big players in connected fitness to offer equipment in fun colors. This bike has choices for accent color in baby blue, orange sherbert, pale purple, and a bright pink to benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation.
