iFIT sets new record with Kilimanjaro Half Marathon Race

iFIT has set a new record for its longest on-demand workout yet with the release of the Kilimanjaro Half Marathon Race. The total duration of the race is 2 hours and 22 minutes, which breaks its previous record of 2 hours and 4 minutes from the Jackson Hole Half Marathon Race.

Holding a 12-minute mile pace, iFIT trainer Knox Robinson guides runners through the Kilimanjaro Half Marathon in both a 4-part and 1-part series. The 4-part series breaks the half marathon into 2.7-3.5 mile sections, while the 1-part series is for those who want to experience the entire race in one run.

While an over 2-hour on-demand race is impressive, iFIT may have much longer experiences coming. iFIT recently acquired 29029, a 13-hour race where you trek the distance of Mt. Everest. On social media, iFIT recently shared it was filming the 29029 challenge which means this race could later be coming to NordicTrack and Proform treadmills and ellipticals.
