Peloton opening new London studio on September 14

Peloton announced on its blog that it is officially opening up a Peloton London studio on September 14. The company also shared that it will now be offering more live classes and briefly mentioned it might be bringing on some new coaches, as well.

Recently, Peloton mentioned that it is not hosting any live classes from its current London studio from September 4-13. The company said:

“We’re not taking time off—we’re working on something for our Members. Stay tuned for more, coming September 14.”

It is now clear that Peloton was preparing for the launch of the new London studio that opens on September 14.

Peloton instructor, Hannah Frankson, lives in the UK and is very excited about the new London studio opening up. She said,

“London is my home, and I’m so excited to finally be able to share the love and passion I have for my city with millions of our members across the globe. No matter if you’re tuning in from Atlanta or Sydney, Hamburg or Toronto, I hope you feel the energy and the inspiration that we bring to you live from London.”

Peloton also teased about some potential new coaches joining the London studio on its blog and Instagram. The company shared:

“Of course, all this extra space and ever-growing output requires some expert support, so keep your eyes peeled for some new faces… That’s all we’re going to say for now!”

Peloton has not disclosed any further information on who the new coaches could be. There have been rumors of a few potential prospects, like Jon Hosking. But we will not know for sure until closer to the launch date.

Along with the new London studio, Peloton will also be offering more live classes. It’s aiming to provide more classes at times that are more convenient for its European members. Peloton said:

“We’re really excited to be able to deliver more classes, particularly LIVE workouts, at times that suit our European Members. Now more than ever, Members around the world will be able to work out with others live and smash goals together in real time—whatever their schedules look like.

Our community is our heart, and we’re incredibly proud to be giving our Members even more ways to show up together from home.”

There have already been two classes announced to celebrate the London studio launch. And, of course, they will be taught by two UK natives. The first is a 30-minute Pop ride with Leanne Hainsby. The second is a 30-minute Global Beats ride with Ben Alldis.

Peloton also confirmed it will now have live Tread classes soon from the new London studio, which is just in time since the Tread was just re-released after the recall earlier this year.
