Ergatta adds 3D Race options with new update

At the end of July, Ergatta released a software update that added a new 3D look to their race workouts. This new update now allows members the option to switch between the new and older visual styles, among several other small improvements.

While the new three-dimensional race was mostly well received, the many twists and turns did give a small portion of members motion sickness. A poll in the Ergatta private Facebook group also suggested most users would prefer the option to switch between the two styles. Quick as always to listen and respond to member feedback, Ergatta has released this new update to allow that within weeks.

Located under “Workout Preferences” within “User Settings,” members can now switch between the 3D and more simplified race workout experience.

The other improvements from the update include:
– Better Race Visualization: a new meters tracker above race avatars now allows you to better visualize how far away the competition is.
– Private Challenge Rankings: private challenges are now sorted based on who is leading in the challenge.
– Bugfix: private challenge requests will no longer expire prematurely.

Ergatta has said they have several new exciting updates ahead that we will keep you updated on here at Connect The Watts.
