Ergatta introduces a 3D update to its Race Workouts

Starting today, Ergatta owners will see a software update that includes new and improved Race Workouts. With the update, rowers will now see the rollout of a new competitive world, featuring a slew of new, three-dimensional courses.

Ergatta is a connected home fitness rower and one of the newer fitness brands to hit the market in recent years. The Ergatta’s unique cherry wood frame brings a home decor-focused look to its design, in addition to offering daily home workouts.

Another unique aspect of the Ergatta is that it is the only rowing machine on the market to be focused around gaming rather than instructional classes. Workouts are focused on goals within a program, as well as races and intervals against others.

This includes workouts like the Meteor Game, in which you use the strokes of your rowing to elevate a ball on the screen to gather points. Another game available to Ergatta rowers has been Races, a head-to-head competition against other Ergatta members.

Ergatta has now announced an update to Race Workouts, complete with new competitive worlds and 3D animations across its platform.

In an email to Ergatta members today, the connected fitness company shared the following message, introducing updates to Ergatta Race Workouts:

You asked. We listened.

Guided by community feedback, we are thrilled to roll out dynamic, 3-dimensional courses to all Race Workouts on the platform. Connect and compete with friends and rivals in an immersive competitive environment, or challenge your past performances for a new Personal Record. None of your previous performances are impacted by this update.

The Ergatta Experience will continue to grow and evolve with the community, and we have exciting releases ahead.

Those “exciting releases ahead” remain unclear at this point, but we would expect Ergatta to continue improving its gaming aesthetic based on community feedback. Trust that CTW will keep you in the loop as more updates come to light.
