[Update: Now live!] Peloton to launch new beta ‘course planner’ feature on iOS app

Update: this feature is now live in the Peloton digital app

Peloton is looking to debut a new beta feature for iOS users of its app. The new feature, titled “course planner,” will allow Peloton members to select and schedule specific dates and times using the app. This is all accomplished through a new calendar function placed within each class’s main page.

According to a full breakdown by Pelo Buddy, some iOS app users may soon see a “schedule” button below the instructor’s image on a given class. Tapping this new icon will bring up a calendar page, allowing you to choose any date and time within a two-week period to schedule the class.

After scheduling the class at your desired time, this new feature will include an “invite” button on the screen once your time slot is confirmed. You can then tap the “invite” button to share with friends you would like to join you.

The beta feature also allows you to easily find your scheduled classes by tapping the “schedule” section at the top of the “classes” tab. In this section, there will soon be a “your schedule” tab. Tapping this section will pull up any classes you currently have scheduled.

This beta feature has only begun emerging for certain iOS members the past few days, and will not be a permanent feature in the app. At least not yet, but this is a common practice for beta testing. For now, you can ensure you have the latest version of the Peloton app and check if you can test the new course planner feature.
